Several times we have raised this agenda to GM/Krishnagar.. GM /Krishnagar moved after our persuation and we hope this will be shifted earlier. No other unions including the majority UNION and no other Association other than SNATTA & NFTE had raised these demand. But how funny will it be if anyone otherthan SNATTA & NFTE claims?

The company in its projection to Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises (BRPSE) had informed that it expects to turn profitable in the fiscal ending March 2013, but projects a net loss for 2010-11 and the ongoing year that began on April 1.It expects a net loss of Rs 2,725 crore on revenue of Rs 31,738 crore in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. In 2011-12, the loss is expected to narrow down to Rs 623 crore on revenue target of Rs 36,569 crore.

Within a month of Telecom Ministry reviewing performance of loss-making PSU BSNL, some circles, including Maharashtra and West Bengal, have started showing improvement.
"Out of the 24 circles a few of the circles have already started showing good performance on gross revenue basis between the range of 14% to 18%. West Bengal is showing a growth of 18%, Maharashtra is giving returns of 15.5%, and Orissa and UP areshowing growth of 14%," a senior DoT official said.

NEW DELHI: Indian GSM telecom operators added 9.53 million subscribers in May, taking the all-India GSM cellular subscriber base to 590.19 million, cellular operators' association COAI said.
Bharti Airtel, the largest GSM player, added 2.45 million users in May, taking its total subscriber base to 167.06 million, data released by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) showed.
It had a 28.31 per cent market share as of the end of May, 2011, it added.
Rival Vodafone Essar, with a 23.62 per cent market share, notched up 2.44 million new subscribers during the month. Its subscriber base stood at 139.42 million at the end of the reporting month.
Aditya Birla group firm Idea Cellular added 1.80 million users during the month to take its total user base to 93.75 million, while Aircel added 1.11 million customers to take its subscriber base to 57.06 million.
State-run telecom firms BSNL and MTNL added 0.47 million and 20,604 new users, respectively, taking their subscriber base to 87.61 million and 5.23 million, respectively.

NEW DELHI: India's largest mobile service provider Bharti Airtel has earned the dubious distinction of being the company facing the largest number of consumer complaints, according to latest government data.
As per the latest data available with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), as many as 2001 complaint calls were received against Bharti Airtel between March 2010 and February 2011.
This was highest number of complaints against a single company, followed by state-owned telecom major BSNL (1986 complaints), PSU giant Indian Oil (1940), Anil Ambani-led telecom firm Reliance

We have made several intimation in written and verbally to the DE/Trans , GM/KSH, to restore the DSLAM. this DSLAM was out of service from the very beginning of its integration. "BSNL mobile and landline subscriber base is declining, broadband subscribers are also not matching the pace of private players. So it is time BSNL tighten up its shoes and I am committed to turaround the organisation in the next six months," Sibal told reporters here.

BHOPAL:The state run telecom operator BSNL today said it will open a call centre for its wireless phone subscribers in Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Chhattisgarh here, in a bid to better its service and customers handling.
"To better our service and customers' handling, we are going to start a 150 seater call centre from tomorrow in the district," BSNL Chief General Manager (CGM) ( MP & Chhattisgarh Circle) N K Yadav told reporters today.

In Krishnagar SSA, there is no impact found for the declared “Customer Delight Month”. The office & its culture is being continued as it was. No sign of shining of BSNL service in these SSA. Only the meeting and gathering can not perform the “ CUSTOMER DELIGHT MONTH”. The employees are particularly not aware of the fact and the Agenda of CUSTOMER DELIGHT MONTH should come from the soule & morale. Do you find any deviation from existing regularity and accountability after “Customer Delight Month” in these SSA? No, nothing. Rationale for Creating National Optic Fibre Agency (NOFA) :-1. Creation of an optical fibre network in the country requires a dedicated agency for planning, operation and provision of required bandwidths to its users. In the remarks against paragraph 7.05 and 7.06, the DOT have stated that during the deliberations in the Department, it was felt that the creation of NOFA merits serious consideration. Yet, the scheme that is formulated does not make any provision for this. Instead, the institutional mechanism for the National Optic Fibre Network (NOFN) envisages the setting up of a high-level committee as well as an advisory body with BSNL being the executing agency. GM were very attentive to us. DS express the serios concern over the matter. detailed discussion took place on the matter. after hearing all this , GM instantly call HRD over phone and instructed to take necessary action over the matter. DS proposed for a detailed meeting regarding all the matter of TTAs by next week, GM accepts to meet us. we shall arrange another meeting with GM very soon.
