Management of BSNL initiated to introduce new staffing norms according to the existing connection, not according to the existing capacity of the system of fixed line services............ for appropiate utilization of the manpower. A.K.Garg Director (HR) issued letter to all the CGMs regarding the same on 27-04-2011. new staffing norms have to devised with a view to rationalize staff across the organisation and re-deploy the surplus staff in new areas whee there are acute need e.g. mobile services, transmission, new business, enterprise business, customer relationship management, sales and marketing, etc.
