11-02-2012: DS met GM/KSH and appealed for the following...
1) Mobile connection to be gioven as per order of Corporate office. and the TTAs are top priority to get this.... as they are mostly work loaded
2) A new TTA recruited and conpleted induction training. But He is not being allowed to join as his PVR is not recieved. we the 2007 & 2008 batch were faced the same fate and were not allowed and many of us even are still affected so many months in service.
However we approched GM with correct justification to accept the joining of the new TTA before PVR so that he should get the benefit of prior appointment.
GM accepted and told the TTA to apply for joining. We hope the case will be sorted soon by appreciation of GM/KSH.

CHENNAI: The Supreme Court order cancelling 2G licences issued in 2008 may turn out to be a blessing for the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in the State. The telecom service provider is planning to cash in on the verdict by working on a strategy to teleport an estimated 60 lsakh subscribers who are likely to be affected by the verdict.
“The verdict will tilt the balance in favour of the State-owned company,” said a BSNL source.
Earlier, BSNL number portability was hit hard with around 2.2 lakh customers porting out and just 92,243 porting in. “The ratio was 1:5 then. We have now succeeded in bringing it to 1:1.6,” the source said.
Interestingly, the employees union has welcomed the Supreme Court order and attributed the success to the union’s effort in exposing the scam. K Govindaraj, Chennai Circle secretary of the BSNL Employees Union, said the company is working on a strategy to enrol the subscribers hit by the 2G verdict.

03-02-2012: ultimately JTO/TRANS/KSH bent from his comment & said sorry for issuing unnecessary letter to the TTAs......
JTO/TRANS/KSH for the last two months was issuing letter to TTAs of Transmission section. we brought the matter ultimately to the notice of GM. GM/ KSH Accepted our point of veiw. all the administartive officers were also agreed that this type of letter is not necessary as it may create chaos for system & warned JTO /TRANS/ KSH not to issue such letter in future. JTO/TRANS/KSH ultimately said " sorry " for issuing the letter.

Dear friend,
We the DRTTAs are at the Brittled phase of a CPSU. A critical situation is going on in BSNL by the policy of GOVT & its toothless & inefficient , corrupted top management who are running the BSNL. VRS are at the door step but VRS may not be adopted before the end of this financial year. Suddenly Govt. started to repatration process of ITSs to DOT and near about more than 400 ITSs had returned to DOT. Rests are waiting. But 1700+ ITSs have no space to sit in DOT. Again suddenly BSNL adopted a policy for lateral entry of those ITSs with higher scale. It is learnt that 700 ITSs may return to BSNL in such way after securing their pension field . In no psu there are such huge number of Gr. “ A “ officers. Where is the need ? this is done not for the purpose of BSNL but for the need of ITSs. We should ask Govt. when VRS is being adopted for huge no of non-executive then why ITSs are being returned ? comrade we have to protest. Comrade our landline business is now rationally reduced and we shall not be surprised that more than 12000 crore on an average is spent on landline business but only about 2000 + crore BSNL get annually. Why BSNL will not trim landline operation or should get the balance support from govt. Govt denied to allot “ national optical fibre project “ to BSNL only but included other PSUs and private players in this. Not only that the USOF fund are also not being given only to BSNL although social obligation met by BSNL only. We protest all this . we also thanks to Govt to accept in principle for refund of wimax spectrum charge. We appeal Govt. of INDIA to take positive steps to run the PSU & save the PSUs as well as BSNL.
We appeal all the trade union and the associations to wake up and give the right path to save BSNL excluding the politics. We the employees may also be able to save BSNL to some extent.
We found reckless corruption not only in BSNL but throughout INDIA starting from telecom scam. We have our patriotism & social consciousness. Our unity feels the need of the hour, thus support Anna Hazare ji “ s INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION” movement.
A lot of executives were given the benefit for more than one year ago, & now another lot of directly recruited executives pay reductions settled by this month. At last our bad luck remains unsettled. Most of the trade unions have least attention to the new comer of BSNL as we have the least head count but with excessive pressure of work. Some of the members asked them for right answer of the fact but nothing spelt correctly. Rightly snatta decided to go before Court. BSNL had ultimately submitted its reply before court. Now the court case really started. Next date of hearing extended to 30 th jan, 2012. When no one is ready to respond to our shout then it is the only way we may go. We hope for the best.
We don’t know profit & loss to support someone but its true we are success to show that we are not deaf & dumb.
JTO LICE is going so critical. A mass number JTO lice posts were saved by the untired effort of CHQ & still the fight is on.
Designation change for the TTAs are yet to be adopted in BSNL. we feel designation may increase our morality to some extent. When we are giving more than the job of a TTA then why we are defined by this.
Recently BSNL has issued order to extend the facility of informal meeting to all trade union securing 15% of total vote and hence the SNATTA will also take part in informal meeting with management through our alliance partner NFTE.
The DRTTAs who have joined later due to PVR should have the date of increment on the date resume of induction training but in these SSA we are deprived although so many SSAs & circles got this. We will fight for this.
Divisional committee was formed for the last year. We launched our own website> www.snattakrishnagarwb.blogspot.com <of our SSA , our SSA Body after long persuation succeeded to get confirmation letter within 8 months after probation period. the case of security money is under process. In transmission section, we are still fighting to secure our prestige. Comrade we all are the employees to serve BSNL & the Nation. By no means we are ready to compromise with our prestige. But comrades several times divisional body could have nothing to do when no members are placing the proposal service upliftment, etc etc, divisional body had several times intimated regarding these. Proper input is required. mind that some time lesser power is more than greater power.
friend, we are snattaians supporting snatta only from morality excluding all personnal interest in spite of having all the red eye of the trade unions. We are from own idealism which increase your personality , reflects your identity. So don’t be afraid of any kind of attack. Unity is our strength.

Decision accepted in the divisional conference:
1) Oppose the Govts anti-BSNL policy, protection should be given to BSNL to secure interest of PSU
2) Support anti-corruption movement
3) 30% fitment : sufficient support to the court case and at the same time persue the alliance partner to take up the case with management for earlier settlement.
4) JTO/LICE case is to be persued more aggressively with the alliance partner before management because the long delay in JTO LICE making frustration. Fight for the best.
5) Increment date for all the batchmate of induction training should be given as per unique policy on the date of resume of training. some cases in some SSA it was given but in Krishnagar SSA do not have. Bring it to management & persue it.
6) Designation change of TTAs
7) Pay scale upgradation of TTAs
8) Pending transfer cases to be sorted out sortly.
9) Better service of BSNL: various aspect were discussed, so many ideas collection of OSD, special care to high value customer, sufficient no of pcm to BBD DSLAM, billing problem, nabadwip tower problem etc included to promote service & earn revenue to be place before management.

12-08-2011: Annual district conference meeting of snatta krishnagar were held on 08-01-2012 at krishnagar Main Exchange Building.
Annual district conference meeting were held on 08-01-2012 at Krishnagar Main Exchange building. Most of the members were present in spite of having bad weather & inconvenience of Train accident at phulia Station. Meeting were delayed by this but response from all corner we found. this was the 2nd conference in our SSA. Meeting were arranged in a grand manner. Divisional Committee wished all the members with " happy New year greetings" & Diary etc. Meeting were scheduled in two phase one in Internal Session & next Open Session.
Sri Manas Mukherjee, retd Sr, SDE & former All India Secretary General BTEF , had attended the meeting.

03-01-2012: We have met SDE / HRD on 03-01-2012 for earlier settlement of security refund case & arrangement of next DPC for the residual part of the DRTTAs.
SDE /HRD assured to intiate earlier to refund the security money & the DPC will probably take place by this month.

NEW DELHI: The government received a total of Rs 236.99 crore from BSNL and MTNL as spectrum usage charges for the first half (April-September) of the current fiscal, Parliament was informed today.
"Up to the second quarter ended on September 30, 2011, the government has received Rs 16.99 crore from MTNL and Rs 220 crore from BSNL as spectrum usage charges, totalling to Rs 236.99 crore," Minister of State for Communications and IT Milind Deora informed the Lok Sabha today.
Telecom service providers have to pay a percentage of their adjusted gross revenue (AGR) to the government as spectrum usage charges.
Replying to another question, Deora informed that BSNL has sought support of Rs 9,306 crore per annum from the USOF toward the Rural Direct Exchange Lines (R-DEL) scheme following expiry of the current subsidy support of Rs 2,000 crore per annum given to BSNL for the period of three years from July 19, 2008, to July 17, 2011.
On another question related to cases of corruption reported in BSNL and MTNL, Deora said during the last three years and the current year, the total number of corruption cases reported in BSNL stood at 36, while it stood at 22 for MTNL.
"The nature of these cases are demanding and accepting illegal gratification, disproportionate assets, misappropriation," Deora said.
Punitive action, as prescribed under the rules, is taken against officers working in both companies that are found involved in such incidents. In addition to deterrent punitive action, preventive measures like inspection and training in vigilance matters are being adopted by both companies to eradicate such incidents, he said.

Bharti Airtel, the largest GSM player, added 0.96 million subscribers, taking its total to 174.69 million users. It had a market share of 27.64 per cent.
Vodafone Essar, with a 23.23 per cent market share, added 0.92 million new subscribers during the month, taking its subscriber base to 146.84 million at the end of November 2011.
State-owned BSNL and MTNL added 0.55 million and 33,666 new users, taking their total to 92.14 million and 5.39 million, respectively.
Aircel added 0.67 million customers taking its subscriber base to 60.95 million, while Uninor added 1.86 million new users to take its subscriber base to 34.18 million at the end of last month.

Shri Milind Deora, the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology informed Rajya Sabha today in a written reply that the amounts realized by BSNL and MTNL from its customers during the year 2010-11 against the outstanding bills of previous years and bills issued during the year are Rs 12,587 crores and Rs 863 crores respectively. As on 31.3.2011, the total outstanding dues of BSNL and MTNL are Rs 5341 crores and Rs 1,103 crores respectively. Measures taken/being taken by BSNL and MTNL to recover their outstanding dues are as follows:

“The total cost of the VRS, designed to revive the loss-making company, works out to Rs 16,000 crore if 100,000 employees opt for it. this is the first time after our joining in BSNL , since last three years that our GM .i.e our SSA Head visited the exchange buildings etc. we apprecate this trend. we appeal to him so that regularly inspection sholud be done so that at least we believe that we have a SSA head.

2010-এর মানব উন্নয়ন সূচক বলছে 169টি দেশের মধ্যে ভারতের স্হান 119৷ আর তেন্ডুলকর কমিটির 2010-এর রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী ভারতের মোট জনসংখ্যার প্রায় 37 শতাংশ বসবাস করেন দারিদ্রসীমার নিচে৷ সরকার যদিও এই তথ্যকে মান্যতা দেয়না৷ শুধু তাই নয়, ভারতীয় রাজনীতিক ও নীতি নির্রকরা কতখানি নির্লজ্জ একবার ভেবে দেখুন – শহুরে ভারতবাসীদের ক্ষেত্রে দরিদ্র বলতে তাঁরা বোঝেন যাদের দৈনিক 32 টাকা, আর গ্রামে সেই তুল্যমান গিয়ে দাঁড়ায় দৈনিক ছাব্বিশ টাকা৷ এর নাম দারিদ্রসীমা? একে তো সর্বহারা সীমা বললেও কম বলা হয়৷ সরকার বলছে, জন প্রতি মাসিক 960 টাকা আয় করলেই নাকি তা দারিদ্রসীমার উধের্ব ওঠার পক্ষে যথেষ্ট৷ সারা বিশ্বে মোট যে রফতানি হয়, তাতে ভারতের অংশীদারিত্ব 1.32 শতাংশ৷ চিনের ক্ষেত্রে এই অঙ্কটা 9.6 শতাংশ৷ প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বাজারে এটাও নেহাতই কম মনে হওয়ার কথা৷ কারণটা আপনি ইউরোপ কিংবা আমেরিকার যে কোনও দোকান হাতড়ালেই বুঝতে পারবেন৷ আলপিন থেকে এলিফ্যান্ট – যে কোনও প্রোডাক্টের গায়েই দেখবেন লেখা আছে ‘মেড ইন চায়না’!
আজ মুম্বাই-এর প্রায় চল্লিশ শতাংশ মানুষ বস্তিতে বসবাস করেন৷ আর দিল্লির প্রায় পঁয়ত্রিশ শতাংশ মানুষ খোলা আকাশের নিচেই মলমূত্র ত্যাগ করেন৷ হাঙ্গার ইনডেক্সে ভারতের স্হান সাতষট্টি৷ এর সঙ্গে ভগ্নস্বাস্হ্য কিংবা অকালমৃতু্য তো আছেই৷ আর আমদের পরম প্রিয় রাজনীতিবিদরা কী করছেন? কেবলই পরস্পরের প্রতি কাদা ছোড়াছুড়ি৷
তাই আগেও যেটা বলেছি, সেটা দিয়েই শেষ করছি৷ শুধু মানবতার খাতিরেই নয়, নিজের আখের গোছানোর ক্ষেত্রেও তাই দুর্বলতমের তত্ত্বের হাত ধরে হঁাটা ছাড়া পুঁজিবাদের আর কোনও পথ নেই৷ এটাই সেরা সময় যখন পুঁজিবাদী অর্থনীতি এবং বিজনেস লিডারশিপ সার্বিক অর্থেই নিজের ভোল বদলে নতুন ভাবে শুরু করতে পারে৷ সমাজের প্রত্যন্ত মানুষগুলোর মুখ চেয়ে আমাদেরও উচিত আরও বড় হূদয় নিয়ে যথাযথ বিশ্বনাগরিকের দায়িত্ব পালন করা৷ আর যদ্দিন পর্যন্ত তা না হচেছ, ততদিন ওয়াল স্ট্রিটে বিক্ষোভ চলতে থাকুক আর কি! সে বিক্ষোভ ছড়াতে ছড়াতে যদি সারা বিশ্ব গ্রাস করে নেয়, তাতেই বা আশ্চর্যের কী?

17-11-2011: Who are purely eyeing on " improvement of BSNL serviec in our SSA"?
the answer of the question is obviously the DR employees of BSNL of the SSA. we saw no-planning , no-designing, no intension but all are engaged for the business other than the business of BSNL. All the trade unions/association have no design of cordial approach for the cause to save BSNL & improve its revenue. But we the DR employees are serious of the issue & all time thinking of it. we saw various agitation & demonstration , conference etc but surely all these are not done to assure Improvement of BSNL . We appeal to all such union / association & management & other direct & indirecly employed personnel..to have pure action to save BSNL.
