Subject: Grievances of Direct Recruited Telecom Technical Assistants, regarding.
Respected Sir,
We the Dr TTAs (Telecom Technical Assistant) recruited in this benign concern since the formation of BSNL i.e. Oct. 2000 feel very proud to work with the nation’s telecom giant. It is well known to all that the TTA recruited after formation of BSNL are possessing Engineering Diploma as a minimum qualification and many are holding Bachelors as well as Masters degree. We all are facing some heart burning issues, which are hereby listed for your kind perusal and we are hopeful for a solution with your kind intervention.
Reduction in pay to the DRTTAs recruited on and after 1.1.2007 due to 2nd Wage Revision: After 2nd wage revision TTAs recruited on or after Jan-2007 have been in loss and they should have got benefited like in the case of DR-JTOs. Though we are still of the view that the 30% fitment given by 2nd wage revision should be extended to all the employees in BSNL who were working till the date of implementation, if any special dispensation is given to the executives other than 30% fitment to compensate the loss in salary due to 2nd wage revision the similar special dispensation without any prejudice and dilution must be given to the non executive (DRTTAs) who are also facing loss in salary and allowances due to 2nd wage revision
Early conduct of JTO LICE with latest vacancies: We regret to say that no promotional avenues have been provided for this young working brigade. Since recruitment (Yr 2000 onwards) no body got any promotion by either way resulting in moral dropping and de motivation .We all are working in all the areas whether it is Core technical / technical or non-technical in full swing with the expectation that the vertical growth will be considered.
I request you to kindly issue orders to conduct the JTO LICE by counting the latest vacancies i.e. up to 2012 so that all the eligible candidates as per the JTO RR 2001 can appear in the departmental competitive examination.
Transfer Under Rule-8: The TTAs who have sought to have transfer under Rule-8 for intra circle and inter circle may be considered, Here I would like to bring to your notice that recently a large number of departmental TTA’s have been recruited and are undergoing training in various telecom training centers. I request you to kindly consider the request transfers of TTA’s under Rule-8 for which the information is already available with the corporate office.
